Flowers/fruits
The 3-year-old ginseng begins to flower, and the fruit is initially grass-green and gradually turns red as it matures. Often referred to as "ginseng girl," she can be picked to make seeds.
Leaf/palmar leaf
The leaves resemble dicots and are shaped like palms, also known as palmar leaves. The leaf has a long petiole and is divided into 5 pieces, and at the petiole, there are multiple leaflets like a leaf support.
Petioles
Generally, one petiole is added every year. Five-year-old ginseng usually has five petioles. But when the root grows vigorously, it will have an extra petiole.
